Open Question: Fifties Theme Wedding Ideas?
Posted on May 15, 2009 under Wedding Cake Toppers Q&A |I’m planning a 50’s theme wedding and wondered what you thought to my ideas or if people had any ideas to add. I want quite a cute feel to it - not over the top “Grease” style.
Dresses are prom style, with bow alice bands. Cake is a cupcake tower and gifts for bridesmaids are cupcake jewelery and centerpieces made from milkshake glasses filled with retro swirl lollies - finished with a bow. These sweets double as favors. Oh and a jukebox for entertainment.
Do you think this works or do you have any better ideas?
