Open Question: question about wedding cake?

I want to have a small cake for the top becasue i want a cake topper lol i know childish but i just do. where is there a place online that i can order from that will let me get samples to taste before i order? my A friend was able to do this before his wedding but i have to way to get ahold of him he moved so i dont know how to find a place like that. it doesnt really even need to be a wedding cake place just somewhere i can get a singel layer cake.
