Resolved Question: Ice cream cake for a wedding?

I’m not a big cake person I hate icing and really don’t want a cake for my wedding however my fiance really does. So i was think we could possibly do a ice cream cake, we both love ice cream cake and that way he still gets his wedding cake. My venue would allow it however i’m not sure how practical that is? there is about 75 people coming and i have talked to a few places and they would charge about 150 for a two tiered cake the bottom ice cream and the top a small normal cake for cutting!, does this seem okay to do or would it not work? I would be able to keep it in a freezer until the time to serve it but would serving 75 people be to hard? do you think it would melt?
