I was thinking about just having different appetizers, wedding cake and an open bar. If we did a late ceremony and reception it could work, what do you think?? The open bar is a must because we want the reception to feel more like a celebration. Its going to be a small wedding 100 people tops.
Ok so I have a friend who would like a 4 tier wedding cake. Base layer fruit, next chocolate, next vanilla sponge, top vanilla sponge. Is this going to work? Or am I better advising her to have a 3 tier?
I’m getting married in May and we are not going to have a wedding cake. We’re going for cupcakes instead.
Which would be cheaper?
1. Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting
2. Vanilla cupcakes with regular white frosting and a strawberry on top
3. Chocolate cupcakes with regular white frosting and a strawberry on top
hiya id like some advice on what you think of my wedding please where having our wedding in a castle its lovely we are only having 25 people altogther, we are having the ceremony there and it will be a circle ceremony which i think sounds great. we are then having photos extra and a reception drink but instead of cannapees were having a retro sweet corner and people can just pick were having family included in photos with us. then were having a sit down meal were having one long table as think i looks great my flowers are pink roses and white calla lillies so having them on table 2. on desert gonna have sugar diamonds sprinkled on plates as were having a diamond theme.weve got 3 speeches 1st mine 2nd groom (whos gonna announce to every1 were having our 1st baby) 3rd bestman then cutting of cake which is great topper bride is pinching grooms bum, then were gonna have room turnaround after that were gonna do photoslides (still not quite sure ur oppinon) then having saug and bacon rolls 4 night then gonna go out side and light skylanters then bed. am also having were having a wishing tree instead of a guest book for guests to leave messages. and also having a wishing well becuase weve asked 4 cash seeming weve got all house stuff. what do you think?

Today is my 40yr wedding anniversary-the Ruby. My husband hasn’t said a word about it, he hasn’t bought me a card, or even a cheap bunch of flowers-in fact he has given it a blank. My daughters came over with their children and I made the tea, cakes etc. I feel a little cheated, isn’t this some sort of milestone, if I say anything it will cause a row, and he will say I’m over the top, and to stop making a fuss! Just wanted an opinion.

my favorite flavor is carrot cake but i know not everyone likes it. can i just have the top layer of a three layer cake be carrot and the rest be something else?
